Brief about the Team:

The B&M Retail team manages in-store pharmacy operations, diagnostics, and e-consult services, ensuring excellent customer experience. It works closely with Warehousing, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to deliver top-notch service and operational performance.


What You Will Do:

Financial Performance and Sales Responsibilities:

  • Achieve daily sales targets with shift-wise allocation.
  • Meet daily targets for private label, BigBasket, generics, high-margin categories, and diagnostics.
  • Develop business relations with local doctors, gyms, salons, grocery chains, and other partners.
  • Ensure staff make required customer calls, including prescription reminders and follow-ups with dormant or high-value users.
  • Maintain commitment registers and ensure timely order closures.

Omnichannel Business:

  • Achieve zero pushback on omnichannel orders and zero processing TAT breaches.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Guide the team in RCA and improve response processes.

Team Management, Business Review, and Training:

  • Motivate and manage the team’s performance.
  • Oversee roster management, leave tracking, and attendance.
  • Resolve team challenges and communicate targets, achievements, and incentives clearly.
  • Conduct daily performance reviews and knowledge/training sessions on medicines and communication skills.
  • Nominate staff for central training programs.

Customer Service and Experience:

  • Maintain grooming and etiquette standards.
  • Ensure excellent in-store customer service.
  • Respond to customer calls and WhatsApp messages promptly (within 15–20 minutes).
  • Build long-term customer relationships.

Inventory Health:

  • Validate 100% accuracy in inventory inwarding and SKU putaway.
  • Remove expired, near-expiry, and non-moving items daily.
  • Conduct SKU audits and ensure dispensing accuracy.
  • Train team on inventory management and escalate issues.
  • Monitor theft and pilferage vigilantly.

Marketing Activities:

  • Plan and schedule outdoor marketing activities and ensure collateral availability.
  • Participate in campaigns and promote current offers to customers.
  • Lead marketing initiatives to drive growth.

Requirements

  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong ethical standards.
